re institutions undertake institutional-level Data Integration and Analytic
s Delivery initiatives. However, some of these initiatives take so long to
kick&nbsp;off that the business loses interest in their implementation and
looks for alternative short-term solutions for meeting their immediate anal
ytics needs. These short-term approaches are suboptimal. These suboptimal s
olutions do not really integrate data for the institution and hence result
in inefficiencies introduced due to lack of coordinated effort, governance,
&nbsp;etc.</p>\n<p>On the other hand, some of the institutional Data Integr
ation initiatives kick&nbsp;off on time but fail to integrate the&nbsp;data
that brings the most value to the institution. As a result, though there i
s integrated data in the Integrated Data Platform, there is not enough busi
ness pull-through and eventually, the platform loses its value.</p>\n<p>Dur
ing my experience working at premier health care institutions in the U.S.,&
nbsp;I&#39;ve&nbsp;encountered both of these scenarios in varying degrees.
Hence, through that experience, I have come up with an approach to identify
, analyze, strategize, and plan for the successful delivery of Analytics th
rough the implementation of an institutional-wide Integrated Data Platform.
&nbsp; The approach not only looks at the problem of timely integrated data
and delivery but also best practices that can be widely adopted.</p>\n<p>De
 sign&nbsp;a&nbsp;finite step approach&nbsp;for timely value-based Analytics
delivery using the Integrated Data Platform:</p>\n\n
 Validate the&nbsp;Need\n
 Identify Analytics for Automation and&nbsp;Delivery\n
 Identify Business Sponsors\n	Prioritize and&nbsp;Build a Roadmap\n
 Plan Delivery\n	Getting Started\n
Project Monitoring and&nbsp;Periodic Analytics Delivery\n\n<p>The presentat
ion also covers other items that need to be taken care of for successful de
livery of a data warehouse like:</p>\n\n	Managing Customer Expectations\n
 Team Alignment\n	Customer Engagement\n	Data Governance\n	Data Quality\n
 Analytics Pull-Through\n\n
