Data is everywhere an d any local government is challenged with not only managing relevant data, but also transforming that data to support intelligent decisions and inform ed predictions. Chesterfield County has been on a multi-year data jou rney with the goal of Strategic Information Sharing (StratIS) across our di verse organization. StratIS has been successful in analyzing internal and external data to better understand county demographics for people, ser vices, and housing. Leveraging advanced cloud technologies, state-of- the-art analytical platforms, and geospatial tools and services, Chesterfie ld County can support critical questions being asked by county leaders and officials for improved key decisions.
\nCounty initiatives have led to a new stage in our data roadmap where we strive to Accumulate, Lear n, Utilize, and Solve (AccumuLUS) our shifting community needs to predict f uture demand for county services based on historical trends of our shared d ata.
